Cast Marketing.
A note from Matthew · Hawaii's Big Island

A website that brings in real leads, not just one that looks nice.

I'm Matthew, based on the Big Island. I work with the people who actually run things around here, restaurant and hotel owners, real estate teams, contractors, sports programs, salon owners, photographers, the small businesses keeping the island moving. Cast Marketing has been building real, working sites for years, and that's the same playbook I bring to your project.

Send your current site URL to hello@castmarketingllc.com and I'll send a 5-minute Loom audit back, on or off island.

Custom websites and brand systems for small business owners on Hawaii's Big Island.

What I see across the islands

The site looks fine. The phone still isn't ringing.

I've looked at hundreds of small business sites here on the Big Island and across Hawaii, restaurants, hotels, real-estate teams, contractors, professional services, sports programs, salons. Most of them have the same three problems:

  • 01
The hero doesn't say what you actually do.A visitor lands and can't tell in 5 seconds whether you book private tours, sell real estate, run a restaurant, or all three. Generic 'Aloha, welcome' stock photos don't help.
  • 02
There's no clear path to a booking or a lead.No primary CTA, no online booking, no instant lead capture, just a contact form buried at the bottom and an email that goes to a Gmail nobody checks twice a day.
  • 03
It looks like every other Squarespace on the island.Same fonts, same hero photo, same layout as the business next door. Nothing earns trust on the first scroll, which means visitors keep shopping.

A site I build with you fixes all three, loads fast on a tourist's spotty hotel wifi, and your team can update copy without calling anybody.

What I build

Three ways we can work together.

Pick the one that fits where you are. Not sure? Book the teardown and I'll tell you which is right, even if the answer is "none of the above, here's what to do instead."

What working with me looks like

No sales theatre. Just a clear plan.

01

20-min teardown

Free. We hop on a Zoom (or in-person if you're nearby), I screen-share through your current site, and you walk away with 3–5 fixes you can apply this week, even if you never hire me.

02

Scope & quote

If it makes sense to keep going, I send a one-page proposal: fixed scope, fixed price, no surprise hourly bills, no padding for ‘island markup.’

03

Design + build

Two design rounds, then we build on Next.js. You see real progress weekly via a live preview link, not slide decks. Async-first so the time difference with the build team is a non-issue.

04

Launch + handoff

We ship it, hook up analytics, and train your team to update content. 30 days of post-launch support included, on island time.

What our work looks like

We don't just pitch sites, we ship them.

Two SaaS brands Cast built, branded, and launched themselves. Same team, same stack you'd get on your project.

Common questions

Before you ask, the honest answers.

Do you only work with Hawaii businesses?

Most of my work is with Hawaii small business owners because that's the market I know, but no, geography isn't a requirement. If you're a mainland business that values the design and process Cast brings, I'm happy to take the project. The build team is across the U.S., so the time zone has never been a blocker.

How long does it take?

Landing pages: about a week or two. Full marketing sites: a month or two from kickoff to launch. We move at the speed of your feedback, not arbitrary milestones.

How does pricing work?

Every project is scoped after the teardown: fixed scope, fixed price, written proposal. No surprise hourly bills, no padding because shipping costs more out here. You'll know what you're getting before you sign anything.

Do I keep ownership of the site?

Yes. You own everything when we ship: the code, the design files, the hosting account, the content. No proprietary CMS lock-in, no take-it-down clauses if you ever leave.

Can my team update content after launch?

Absolutely. We can wire up a headless CMS (Sanity, Payload, or Notion-as-CMS) so your team ships copy and image changes safely without breaking layouts.

What if I just need an audit, not a rebuild?

Send me your URL. I'll record a free 5-minute Loom walking through what I'd change and why, no strings attached. Plenty of business owners take the Loom, do the fixes themselves, and never hire me. That's fine.

One last thing

Send me your URL. I'll send back a plan.

No deck, no "discovery questionnaire," no sales sequence. Just a 5-minute Loom of what I'd change about your site, yours to keep whether we work together or not.
